General Summary

Assist the Hospitality team by compiling information and materials required to submit accurate bids to hoteliers, general contractors, or other contacts in the Hospitality industry

Principal duties and responsibilities:

  • Speak directly with Hospitality contacts to obtain plans, address information, signage plans, and other
    information in order to understand the signage needs at each location.
  • Conduct code checks directly or by contracting a specialist to learn what signage restrictions exist at each
  • Request Site Documents from Colite’s Photo-Imaging team.
  • Solicit and negotiate installation quotes with subcontractors.
  • Become proficient in the use of key reporting components and Colite’s Enterprise Resource Planning
    System (Epicor).
  • Create (and revise as needed) quotes in Epicor and maintain pipeline in Epicor’s Sales Dashboard.
  • Work with other departments as needed for project tasks and materials.
  • Track bid information for each location in Colite’s Hospitality Bid List.
  • Conduct cold and warm calls to hoteliers, architects, and contractors to obtain bid opportunities.
  • Attend and assist with trade shows as deemed necessary.
  • Follow up with contacts on pending bids in effort to close the sale.
  • Compile required information from hotelier, municipality, and subcontractors to successfully transition
    awarded projects to the project management team.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities required:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Knowledge and experience in speaking with clients directly.
  • Knowledge and experience in cold and warm calling potential clients.
  • Knowledge of office administrative procedures.
  • Experience with universal software applications and use and experience working with a company-wide
  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System.
