Regional Sales Director

General Summary


This position is responsible for leading all sales activities in a defined geographical region with target customer groups to include municipal governments, universities, commercial real estate owners and developers, and any other attractive segments.

Principal duties and responsibilities:


This is a self-starter, self-motivated position requiring extensive travel within the assigned geographic region.  Relocation should not be required.

  • Establish plans and strategies to expand Colite’s customer base in the assigned region
  • Develop a pipeline of Renewable Power Systems and LED retrofit lighting opportunities in the defined region with direct responsibility for assigned new orders target.
  • Maintain all customer and pipeline activities through SF.com with frequent reports on status to management.
  • Identify prospective customers and lead customer engagement through to order closure.
  • Manage any RFP responses by driving the process across various internal and external partners.
  • Support the financial analysis and modeling of the renewable and LED technology benefits to support customer justification.
  • Attend trade shows during the year to create leads and ensure marketing and sales goals are met and new business is developed.
  • In conjunction with Upper Management, establish consistent pricing policies and procedures to ensure maximum margins while maintaining competitive pricing models.
  • Maintain working knowledge of up to date industry trends and developments, as well as competitor activities and strategies.  Coordinate and manage competitive analysis and ongoing competitive and market landscape tracking activities.
  • Lead transition of secured contracts to project management and execution teams

Knowledge, skills, and abilities required:


This is a self-starter, self-motivated position requiring extensive travel within the assigned geographic region.  Relocation should not be required.

  • Candidate must have direct marketing, sales, and contracting experience to municipal governments, universities, commercial real estate owners and developers, or anther other attractive segment.
  • Formal sales training preferred.
  • Knowledge of renewable technology, energy efficiency and sustainability business process is preferred.
  • A network of relationships with target customer communities and associations is preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information to public groups, C-level management, and/or boards of directors.

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION & DETAILS:

  • Minimum BS, BA Degree with MBA Preferred
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Experience with Saleforce.com or comparable CRM platform

Renewable Energy Systems Engineer

General Summary


Colite International is embarking on a new business area to apply solar-wind-storage renewable hybrid power systems to various off-grid and grid-tied applications. It is seeking an experienced engineer to support the design, application, and control of these power systems. This position is responsible for leading all engineering activities associated with design, deployment, and control of the Colite Solar-Wind-Storage Hybrid Renewable Power Systems.

Principal duties and responsibilities:


  • Define optimal applications and location for hybrid systems
  • Lead Photometric design activities related to lighting applications
  • Interact where necessary with electric utility personal to manage interconnection of grid-tied power systems
  • Lead the development of all scope and cost detail for ongoing sales opportunities
  • Support sales and marketing organizations to promote and sell hybrid power system technology

Knowledge, skills, and abilities required:


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Direct experience designing and deploying renewable power systems, preferably in hybrid applications
  • Familiarity and direct experience with various software applications to model and optimize hybrid renewable power systems
  • Define and manage control philosophy of the various system applications and support vendor selection and management of control technologies and components
  • Knowledge of technological advances and direction to adapt the most advanced components available in the market, particularly solar panels and batteries.
  • Knowledge of engineering design and infrastructure schemes necessary to deploy hybrid renewable systems in both off-grid and on-grid applications
  • Knowledge of photometric calculations for design and layout of lighting systems is a plus

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION & DETAILS:

  • Minimum BS Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Solidworks experience a plus

Pay Range:  $75,000 – $85,000/year

Photo Imaging Technician & Visual Designer

Principal duties and responsibilities:


  • Work with the Brand Application Team to design sign families based on each client’s brand and usage guidelines. Create brand and usage guidelines for clients who currently do not have guidelines in place. Illustrate high level concepts for construction, design, and layout.
  • Work with Project Managers to create and revise brand books; render before and after photos of the recommended signs, paint & repair, landscaping, etc.; and illustrate product size, layout, and other details for client approval.
  • Edits and manipulates photographs for photo renderings using various graphic programs.
  • Completes detailed sign package books for use by client.
  • Checks and corrects client provided artwork for use in production.
  • Completes dimensioned signage layouts that are proportional to their surroundings.
  • Develops and executes usage guidelines for client’s brand identity.
  • Prepare design layouts and specifications for posters, brochures, and other printed and graphic materials.
  • Integral part of preserving brand integrity.
  • Recommends whether or not client signage and other forms of display are physically possible and are pleasing to the eye through the use of complete survey booklets.
  • Coordinate interrelated activities with others departments to promote efficient workflow.
  • Keep abreast of recent developments and technologies in the graphic arts field.
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Must have proficiency with Adobe suite of products, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign

Knowledge, skills, and abilities required:


  • BA in graphic design, communications, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the design industry or equivalent (sign and/or manufacturing industry is a plus).
  • Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize. Must be able to work quickly and efficiently with minimal direction and meet deadlines.
  • Must be detail oriented with emphasis on visual precision, including color, scale, and layout.
  • Good communication skills are required as there is significant interaction between departmental teams.
  • Willingness to learn new approaches and to accept constructive criticism.

  • Must be able to work with shop personnel to resolve design issues and ensure that the best design is achieved.

Project Manager

General Summary


The Project Manager will manage the execution of re-branding projects within the constraints of budget, schedule and scope while minimizing risk and ensuring adherence to established processes and methodologies.

Principal duties and responsibilities:


Basic management duties including all activities and communications required to ensure the timely and profitable completion of all assigned projects and orders. Serve as the company point of contact with a client for the coordination of a project or order.

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients while:
    • Confirming that the sign package purchased will meet customer and site needs
    • Ensuring sign package will pass local permitting requirements
    • Providing regular project status updates
    • Resolving any issues at the site to ensure signs are successfully installed
    • Effectively managing the project milestones (Site Survey, Design, Permitting, Production, Installation) to meet requested installation date
  • Responsible for all aspects of project cost management, including budgeting, forecasting, controlling, invoicing, and reporting to ensure projects are profitable and meet an adequate gross margin.
  • Responsible for hiring local subcontractors to install signs for each site; manage installation process.
  • Effective internal milestone tracking and communication to ensure signs are completed, shipped and installed on time

Knowledge, skills, and abilities required:


  • Must possess outstanding initiative, judgment, communication, and cooperation characteristics, in addition to strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Proficient PC Skills; including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
  • Bachelor of Art or Science from accredited University. MBA a plus.
